What is hyperbaric oxygen therapy?

A Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Chamber is a treatment device that
increases the body¡¯s oxygen concentration and alleviates hypoxia by
          inhaling high‑purity oxygen (99.99%) under high‑pressure conditions.
By dissolving large amounts of oxygen into the blood, hyperbaric
oxygen therapy delivers oxygen throughout the body via the
capillaries. This therapy is highly effective at stimulating new
capillary growth in the skin and can help with diabetes (including
diabetic complications), Buerger¡¯s disease, burns, chronic headaches,
dizziness, and numbness in the hands and feet. Typically, the chamber
pressure is raised to 2–3 atmospheres absolute (ATA)—equivalent to the
pressure at a water depth of 10–20 meters—while inhaling 99.99%
          oxygen.
